Army Museums Ogilby Trust (AMOT)

The Army Museums Ogilby is a private charity founded in 1954 by the late Colonel Robert Ogilby DSO, DL. It is a national organisation that represents the regimental and corps museums of the British Army, supporting them through the provision of advocacy, advice and funding.

AMOT are currently delivering a ground breaking programme funded through Arts Council England’s Museum Resilience Fund and Subject Specialist Network programme. Army Museums into the Future will support the ongoing development and sustainability of the army museum’s sector.
